Detox Bath Recipe

Detox Bath Recipe

Who doesn’t love a warm, relaxing, long bath?

But did you know it’s actually one of the easiest ways to help rid the body of toxins?

If you need a good excuse to take a bath then read this article – Benefits of Epsom Salt Baths.

If you don’t need an excuse, grab a good book, trash magazine, or tablet for some Netflix, and start running the water now!

  • 1/4 cup Sea Salt or Himalayan Salt
  • 1/4 cup Epsom Salt
  • 1/2 cup Baking Soda
  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar (optional)
  • Favorite essential oil if desired (I use 10 drops of lavender, calming blend, or soothing blend)

Instructions

While you run your warm/hot water add salt, epsom salt, and baking soda so it starts to dissolve. Add apple cider vinegar and essential oils if using.

Soak in the bath for 20-30 minutes or as long as desired. Please note with any detox bath, you may feel tired or lightheaded when you get out. I don’t recommend doing this while home alone or before going somewhere in case you are tired or need help. Make sure to drink a lot of water before and after the bath as well to prevent dehydration.

This bath is fantastic for overall natural detoxification, soothing muscles and skin, while boosting magnesium levels. Enjoy the warm bath as part of your detox regime or just when you need some relaxation in your daily life.
